The Judgment Date Is Set

Many churches today preach that Jesus is coming back one day to rule and reign in righteousness, and that’s true…

Or, that He’s coming to restore the earth stained by sin and ruin, and that’s true, too…

Or, that He’s coming to bring peace, and that’s true, too… but the elephant in the room that keeps being ignored is that Jesus is going to come back as Judge: “In the presence of God, and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom, I give you this charge. Preach the Word. Be prepared in season and out of season…” (2 Timothy 4:1, 2)

Sin must be dealt with. Scripture says specifically that sin is what brought death, and the fall. Everything changed because of sin. This is still the world’s biggest problem. Jesus said… “This is what brings condemnation, that Light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than Light, because their deeds were evil” (John 3:19). Their deeds are still evil, and as prophesied, “is growing worse and worse.” God won’t dismiss it. He has a day set for judgment.

Friends, where there is Righteousness, sin must be dealt with, and our weary hearts are longing for God to do exactly that. If there was ever a time we need our Righteous Judge to come and judge sin, it’s now. Praise God this day IS coming, it’s on His calendar.

Come, Lord Jesus.
