Spiritual Warfare Rising

The Bible tells us of a time that ALL that is designed by God will come under attack. The three main biblical institutions of the church, the family, and the government are all under fire. Satan knows he can’t destroy God - he’s already tried, but he knows he can destroy the institutions God created for our good and that is where the war is.

We are watching the rise of Islam sweep across Europe, lighting everything on fire and boasting that Europe is now Islamic. Christians in Nigeria are being slaughtered in the name of Islam as the world sits in silence. Likewise, Iranian Believers are being hung for simply having a home church. Believers in Australia are being charged for “creating a militia” simply for meeting as Christ followers. The list goes on…

These atrocities were foretold at the end of days…  “There will be a time of great persecution. You will be dragged into synagogues and prisons, and you will stand trial before kings and governors, and all on account of My name” (Luke 21:12). It doesn’t end with church persecution. Have you noticed a tension in relationships, marriages, and families? Satan is working overtime to rip the very fiber that holds these God-given entities together. We must be on guard!

Jesus warned Peter…  “Satan desires to sift you like wheat!” In common terms, “Satan desires to destroy everything about you that defines you as a Believer - your peace, your joy, your testimony… are we prepared for battle?

“Indeed all who desire to live Godly lives in Christ Jesus WILL BE persecuted” (2 Timothy 3:12). With this truth in mind, we must rise up with Divine weapons… “For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not weapons of the world. On the contrary, these have Divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).

This is a time for fervent prayer, being in the Word, and meeting with fellow Believers. “Greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world.
