“… He shall bring forth justice to nations… He shall bring forth justice in truth. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till He has set justice in the earth: and the isles shall wait for His Law.” – (Isaiah 42).

The Good News of the Cross is not just a spiritual reality. It is a judicial reality to which all nations will give account. Matthew quotes this verse in its true sense… “He shall bring forth justice in victory” – (Matthew 12:20).

When truth, which has been suppressed, arises to everyone’s view, it’s a welcome and good thing. But until those who lied and suppressed it are brought to justice, and the victims are restored and healed, there is no victory. Jesus is Truth. He was called a liar for claiming to be the Son of God to the point of crucifixion. But He was “declared to be the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead.” And His victory is far from over.

We’re weary of evil, but the Lord moreso… “The Lord shall go forth as a Mighty Man, He shall awaken jealousy like a man of war; He shall cry, yea, roar! He shall prevail against His enemies. ‘I have for a long time held My peace; I have been still and restrained Myself. But now, I will cry out like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once… I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things I will do for them, and not forsake them.’”

Waiting for justice is difficult, but victory is assured… For “this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. Who is the one that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes Jesus IS the Son of God.”
