At Christ's Return

Investigators have revealed there are over 48 anarchist and terrorist groups who have united to fuel the rioting across Europe. Their goal is to make it global.  While we watch this masked militia “steal, kill, and destroy,” the Lord reminds us of three things that will take place at Christ’s return…

1. Their raging will end in futility: “Yet the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” 

2. Jesus Himself will stop them: “You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.” (Psalm 2:8,9). Four times (for emphasis of assurance) the Bible gives us this prophecy of Jesus’ return. Their punishment will match their crime.

3. Believers, sharing the Gospel and keeping His Word today, will share His reign: “I will give them power over the nations: and they shall rule them with a rod of iron: as vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shards: even as I received of My Father” (Revelation 2:26,27).  

God has shown us that His love and justice will have the last say, in the lives of those who trust Him, and in this present evil world… “I saw Heaven opened… and in righteousness He judges and makes war… His name is called ‘The Word of God’ … and the armies of Heaven followed Him… and out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God” (Revelation 19:11-16). 

Oh, the Justice we’re about to see! Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
