With Him Forever

When we look ahead in Revelation and see Jesus returning with the armies of Heaven, we are told… “And they that are WITH Him are called and chosen and faithful” – (Revelation 17:14). The Bible lets us look ahead in the “Faith-Album” and see ourselves in Heaven after the Rapture and returning with Christ after the Tribulation.

If the Christian life could be summed up, it would be simply this: we are invited (called) to share Christ’s life forever. Those who accept the terms of His invitation (repentance and faith) are accepted (chosen). From that moment, our life’s mission is to be as faithful to Him, in all things, as He is to us.

It starts with His Cross… “For I am crucified WITH Christ, nevertheless I live!”  We are “buried WITH Him” by baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead, we also should “walk WITH Him” in newness of life. To be grafted-together in the likeness of His death, is to also be grafted-together in the likeness of His resurrection. We are now “laborers-together WITH God” as we build His Church. And in the process, as we suffer WITH Him, we are reminded we shall also reign WITH Him.

These truths hit home in a new way as the world-powers attempt to overthrow Christian nations and fall away to Islam. So let us be faithful to Him and exalt His glorious Name. For there is no other Name that saves, and time is short.

There is yet an unanswered prayer of our Lord that we hold close to our hearts. It’s about to be answered and everything will change.
