Which Jesus Saves?

The Biblical Jesus (recorded by eyewitnesses) – the one and only eternal Son of God, who claimed equality with God as His own Father. He was born of a virgin, performed miracles, died publicly on a Roman cross, was buried publicly, rose again three days later, to be seen by over 500 at the same time. Ascended back to Heaven 40 days after His resurrection with the promise to return and judge the world in truth. Salvation is by faith in Him alone.
Islam’s Jesus (Quran written about 700 years later: religion founded by an Arab named Muhammad) – was born of a virgin; was merely a good prophet; didn’t die on a cross; can’t save; will return to help establish Islam. Salvation is by following rules of Islam.
Mormonism’s Jesus (Book of Mormon written about 1830: founded by American Joseph Smith) – born of a virgin through a literal carnal relationship of God with Mary; is one of many spirit children of God, Lucifer (Satan) being Jesus’ own brother. Jesus progressed to mortal life because he had a better plan for salvation than Lucifer; is eternal now but was not eternal in the past; is not equal to the Father; died on a cross only to make up the difference that is lacking after a person has done all the good works they can.
Watchtower’s Jesus (New World Translation written in 1870: founded by Americans Charles T. Russell & Joseph Rutherford) – Jesus is Michael, an archangel; He is not God, or equal to God in any way. He died on the cross as an example, not as a substitute for sinners; he was only resurrected spiritually, not physically. Salvation is by believing in this angelic Jesus, belonging to their organization, and obedience to their rules of conduct.
Don’t by fooled by people who say they believe in Jesus. The question is, “Which Jesus?” There is only one true Jesus and only one true Bible, recorded by eyewitnesses. Eternal life depends on your faith in the right one.
