The Old Will Be Made New

Has the sin of this world made you weary? The constant fighting… the absence of peace… deliberately calling evil good and good evil… lives being thrown away for a temporary high, and a complete disregard for the very things that once were held as precious… family, marriage, life, morals, integrity and character.
Modern psychology states that we need to foster community, teach empathy, and affirm individualism in order to make a new and positive change in society. But… the Bible states that we have a sinful nature that must be put to death. There is no coddling it or affirming it into a state of peace and health. The problem is spiritual.
When sin is confessed and Christ indwells the human heart, REAL change occurs. Not from the outside in, but from the inside out. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold ALL things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Our world needs Jesus in such a desperate way. No laws, no judges, and no policies have the power to fix this world. May we pray that the Gospel would be boldly preached without reservation. This world’s culture is sinking; a “titanic” that is taking on water fast… all while the Ark of Salvation still calls for them to come.
What a glorious thought that a day is coming when all that is wrong will be made right. All that is grievous and weighs heavy on our hearts will be no more. Jesus is coming, and with Him will be a new earth where Righteousness and peace reigns. Come Lord Jesus! Come!
