The Most Anticipated Time

The Bible tells us that out of all the ages of time since creation, our time period is the most anticipated of all. The prophets of the Old Testament “searched diligently” to know more about Messiah’s sufferings and “the glory that should follow.” But it was revealed to them that the prophecies were for our day, not theirs.
This time period is also the deep interest of angels in Heaven. Our Rapture and Christ's glorious return are… “things the angels desire to (peer down and) look into” (1 Peter 1:10-12).
It is also the deep, universal anticipation of all creation. Concerning the glory about to be revealed, the Bible states… “The intense anticipation of creation is waiting for the revelation of the children of God… because the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of decay into the glorious liberty of the children of God” (Romans 8:18-21).
Prophets, angels, and all creation are all holding their breath for what we’re about to see… the “unveiling” of Christ to the world, in power and great glory, as lightning across the sky … “The Lord has made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the Salvation (Yeshua!) of our God!” (Isaiah 52:10).
Is it just “glory” we’re all waiting for? No. An old hymn puts it like this, “The bride eyes not her garment, but her dear Bridegroom’s face; I will not gaze at glory, but on my King of Grace; not at the crown He gives me, but on His nail-pierced hands; the Lamb is all the glory of Immanuel’s Land.”
Don’t let the evils of our time rob you of realizing what an epic moment we’re in. You have every reason for “intense anticipation” and great joy!
