Satan's Goals

If we think Satan doesn’t have goals and a supporting agenda, think again! His goals are far more established than ours have ever been.
Firstly, his first priority is to get you to DISTRUST God. If he can do that, you will never find your Firm Foundation. You will forever flounder; and have to tread water in strength of self to the point of exhaustion.
Secondly, he desires that you get OFFENDED at everything, so as to never trust your fellow man. Live in a state of perpetual distrust, and ultimately it will prevent you from loving people, even the unlovable, because that’s what would make you most like Christ. Don’t think for one second that isolating yourself is the answer, it’s not. You need to obey God and “Forsake NOT the assembling of yourselves together, and some are already doing.”
Thirdly, he desires to make you UNBELIEVING. Whatever you do… don’t believe the promises of God! Choose your own path, carved and chiseled out of your own hard-fought ingenuity and belief in self. But… you will find yourself at the end of a dead-end road, with fickle friends, no faith, and shattered trust in the power of yourself.
Do you know your enemy? Do you believe you even have an enemy? If you have trusted Christ at some point in your life you have an enemy that desires to “Sift you like wheat.” He desires to watch you disintegrate in the pool of distrust, offense and disbelief. Don’t be fooled, they all lead to destruction and isolation.
Following God is hard… but following self is harder, with no promises and no lasting Foundation. Do the right thing and “Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart, and lean not on your own understanding...” Do not take offense at everything that unsettles you, recognizing that you yourself have offended God a million times and He still loves you. And rest in the verse that we that “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, will be saved,” not just from death, but from self.
God is patient and His love endures forever, but disobedience to His Word isn’t without consequence. The end-times church is under attack by the evil one and we must be warned to see it for what it is… evil oppression. Don’t fall for it! Rise up in obedience to God.
