Prophecy Fulfilling

The prophet Joel lived approximately 800 years before Christ, and wrote of a time when the Spirit of God would be poured out on all people, transforming hearts and minds and leading them to Christ.

“…I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions” (Joel 2:28). Many people thought that Pentecost fulfilled this prophesy, but the Apostle Peter shared that it is for our very day, the end of days…

“‘It will be in the last days’, says God, ‘that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams’” (Acts 2:17).

We are witnessing this fulfillment in real time. The Muslim populations are coming to Christ through dreams where Jesus tells them who He is and that He is their Savior. One Iranian family of seven ALL had the exact same dream on the exact same night, and received Christ as their Lord and Savior.

In China and throughout the communist countries, these same dreams and visions are being reported. What a comfort to know that where the Bible is forbidden, the Spirit of God is penetrating the darkness and reaching the lost with the Hope of Christ.

We must remember to pray for our lost family and friends, and even pray that God will give them a dream or a vision that is life-changing and cannot be denied. These are prophetical days!
