Modern Day Haman

The Iranian leader is dead. He was in direct opposition to God and all that encompasses His message of freedom. What does this mean for the underground church? The Gospel can now flourish without fear of imprisonment or torture. Celebrating is going on around the whole world where the Iranian people have fled for safety. This is biblical… “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s armies says, ‘I will break the bow of Elam (Iran); the best of their forces.’” (Jeremiah 49:35)
God cares so deeply about those spiritually imprisoned and worshiping underground, and has heard their cries for deliverance just like He heard the cries of the Israelites in Egypt. God still delivers and restores and the church in Iran is flourishing. This was prophesied… “I will set My throne in Elam and destroy her king and officials’, declares the Lord” (Jeremiah 49:38).
History has a way of repeating itself… K(homein)i, or Hamen… both called for an end to the Jews (and recently Americans). They both were killed in the month of Adar the 13th day, (today, Sunday, in their calendar). The edict of the ancient Persian king was to destroy all the Jews, but the Lord turned their evil upon themselves. Haman was hung on the gallows he built for Mordecai, although his goal was to ultimately put all Jews to death. Khomeini was killed in warfare, the very practice he spread throughout the world. Justice is righteous.
“Do not be deceived: God will not be mocked. What a man sows, that will he also reap” (Galatians 6:7).
