Lest We Forget

The command to remember evil, and the precious lives of those who fought it, is not only so that history will be remembered accurately, but so that we can also say, “Never Again.”
Remembrance Day in Canada, and Veteran’s Day in the USA, is being trampled by those who seek the overthrow of our nations. The evil that arose, bringing about both world wars, is rising again – with the help of our own governments and politicians.
The names and faces of those who fought and died, in the name of God-given Christian liberty, on which our nations are built, have been slandered as “colonizers.” The intentional and systemic vilification of our nations’ histories and goodness has been a calculated psychological warfare by global powers.
Our government leaders love terrorists, illegals, and lawbreakers, more than their own citizens. Our military harbors Antifa thugs, our police department is commanded to protect the wicked. Our judges fail to uphold the law – being either cowards or threatened – by higher powers. The coup is before us.
But “lest we forget,” we have a Savior who shall “bring justice to the nations.” He too has been forgotten, slandered, and dismissed. Yet He is King of kings and Lord of lords. He has decreed a truth which cannot be overthrown… “The wicked shall be turned into hell and all the nations that forget God.” Yet, He also promises, He will never forget the humble who call upon His name, His own people, or the oppressed. “I will never leave you nor forsake you” is His resurrection guarantee.
It is time to remember our Hope is only in the Lord.
