In The Morning

As we remember the sufferings of Christ today and what He endured to save us from eternal death, we need to remember there is “three days journey” between everything wrong and overwhelming victory.  Have you noticed all the times in the Bible when everything changed “in the morning”?  Here’s a few…

·  Lot: “And when the morning arose, the angels hastened Lot and brought him forth outside the city.”

·  Israel: “And the sea returned to it’s strength when the morning appeared, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the seashore.”

·   Ruth: “Naomi said to Ruth, ‘In the morning Boaz will perform to you the part of a Kinsman’.”

·  Daniel: “Then the king rose early in the morning, and went in haste to the den of lions, crying with a loud lament, ‘O Daniel, servant of the living, is your God, whom you serve continually, able to deliver you from the lions?”

·  You: “Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others came with them.  And they found the stone rolled away.”

And one day soon it will be said of us, as it was of the disciples: “They toiled all the night, but when the morning was come, Jesus stood on the shore”.

“Hold on, my child, joy comes in the morning!

The darkest hour means dawn is just in sight!”
