Good News

To take the Good News of Christ to the ends of the earth is the hope this world needs. As Jesus walked toward the Cross, He said, “Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people unto Me” (John 12:31,32).

The Cross is the Guarantee that Satan’s malignant influence and power will be ended. To receive Christ as Savior not only casts his lies, deceptions, and authority out of every life, but eventually out of this world for good, into the Lake of Fire.

Jesus Himself said the invitation of the Cross is for “all people.” The message of the Cross is Christ’s power over sin and evil and it is the only message that saves and brings eternal hope by… “Opening their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light, from the authority of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and (eternal) inheritance among those who are set apart from the world (sanctified) by faith that is in Me” (Acts 26:18).

God hates death, sin, and evil more than we do. That is why, on that Passover night, Jesus said to His disciples, “With desire have I longed to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.” Then He broke the bread, saying “This is My body which is given for you,” and lifted the cup saying, “This is the New Covenant in My blood, which is shed for you” (Luke 22:15-20).

Revelation shows two ends for this world. The first is the glory awaiting those who trust in Christ and live for Him today. The other is the Lake of Fire into which Satan and all who love death are cast.
