God Is At Work

Division is necessary for good things to be created. A baby is formed by cells dividing millions of times. At creation, Jesus divided the light from the darkness, and the day from the night, the sea from dry land, to form the world we live in. God divided Israel from all other nations to prepare a holy nation for Christ’s appearing. Then God taught Israel to divide the holy from the unholy, and the clean from the unclean.

When Jesus walked on earth, there was a division because of Him into two camps, those loving light or those loving darkness “because their deeds were evil” (John 3:19). And here we are, 2000 years later, with the divide bigger than ever, just as Jesus foretold.

Yet division is also preparation. God said to Pharaoh, “I will put a division between My people and your people” as preparation for both judgment on Egypt and rescue of His own. What we’re witnessing today is necessary before the Rapture. “You are children of Light, and the children of the Day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.”

Like the first creation, every division God allows creates something new. Participation in Christ’s Kingdom begins with His call… “Come out from among them, and be separate, says the Lord, and touch not that which is unclean, and I will receive you, and will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty” (2 Corinthians 6:17,18).

What begins with the call to salvation will end with the “Upward call of God” call to leave this world. God is at work. Don’t be discouraged. Live ready to go.
