Earth Shall Be Filled

Time after time, the Lord reminds us that no amount of evil we see around will stop His plans for this earth. When a group of unbelieving complainers stopped the whole congregation of Israel from entering the Promised Land when they could have, the Lord remarked… “But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord” (Numbers 14:21). No disobedience or delay will stop His plans.

The Bible foretold of these days, how the enemies of God will unite to bring a globalist agenda. But it also foretells how they will fall by Jesus, the Root of Jesse, who will bring such peace that even the animals will no longer be dangerous… “For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea” (Isaiah 11:9).

God wants us to view these days through the eyes of His promises and power. Christ’s death and resurrection brought a Pardon for sin that has been offered globally before He returns to judge the world, and the promise is not over… “They shall praise the Lord who seek Him: your heart shall live forever. All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and the families of all nations shall worship before Him” (Psalm 22:27).

Faith focuses, not on what is now, but on Who’s coming. Set your heart on Him.
