Denial Leads To Delusion

Our world has fallen into so many mental traps that it clouds perspective. They insist the world “has always had evil in it,” and that “we only know more of it now because of the internet.” Their conclusion? Things aren’t growing more evil as the Bible says, in fact, some claim things are better than they’ve ever been. The delusion is great.
This “group” of deniers are spoken of in the Word… “For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark” (Matthew 24:38). How is it that all the warnings given by Noah were ignored? The disconnect and delusion was great then, too.
The ten virgins parable tells us of this same careless disregard for the warnings of the coming Master. Half of them didn’t have oil in their lamps, and they weren’t awake and watching for the Master to return, either. Did they think they would look for Him when they were done having their own fun? Did they honestly believe they could outsmart God? Did they feel secure in the fact that they were surrounded by other deniers? The same is true today.
This same evil spirit of denial is filling the world with anti-Jewish rhetoric. A shocking 80% of churches throughout the world hold to the belief that the church has replaced Israel. A modern view circulating online is that the Jews in the land today aren’t the same Jews, they are a made-up people with an evil agenda to steal land. Genetic studies silence them in less than a second! The deniers go further and say Jesus wasn’t a Jew, and that He won’t be returning to the land of Israel. The saddest part of this great denial is that many of these deniers are Jews! But judgment is coming for a disbelieving, denying world…. “Whoever disowns Me before others, I will disown before My Father in Heaven” (Matthew 10:33).
As Believers in Christ and His Word, may we continue to speak Truth to a world that is blind; praying for eyes to see and ears to hear while there is still time. This blindness is demonic and will result in death - physical and spiritual.
