Alert In Prayer

One of the great benefits of salvation is prayer. With sins forgiven, we have freedom to enter God’s Throne Room 24/7 and ask what we will… “Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand” (Romans 5:1,2).
We don’t have wonder if God will hear our prayers. Jesus settled that when He said, “Whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you shall ask anything in My name, I will do it” (John 14:13,14).
In these days of spiritual warfare, prayer is not only a source of being infused with God’s strength and wisdom, it is mountain-moving power by which we also withstand the enemy and help others. The Bible encourages us: “But the end of all things is at hand. Therefore, be sober (in a right frame of mind), and watch, with a view to prayer” (1 Peter 4:7).
In other words, stay alert so you can pray about everything. Prayer is vital part of our soul-armor in these last days. The “end of all things is at hand” means the beginning of Christ’s Reign is the next event. Doesn’t that fill your heart with joy? “Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning… blessed are those servants, whom the Lord when He comes shall find watching” (Luke 12:35-37).
