Victory Is Ours

When circumstances overwhelm our hearts it’s so easy to focus on the pain, frustration, and never-ending trials, and forget that we are victorious in Christ.

Did you know that expecting the “next bad thing” is addicting? Psychologists have even coined a term for this consuming hunt for the next bad news story, called… doom scrolling.

Jesus showed us that we can be both informed on the evil that is to come, and victorious and peaceful at the same time. This is contrary to the ways of the world. After Jesus spoke of the evil that will arise in the end days, He said to “not be afraid,” or to “not let your hearts be troubled.” He reminds us to “be of good cheer for He has overcome the world.”

As Believers. We need to show others that our testimony in Christ is one of victory not anxiety and defeat. How sweet it is to read the Word and hear Him remind us that in His eyes, this world is already over, and we are Home with Him… “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:6).

Dear friends, all the chaos and heartache being delivered to us daily, is soon going to be nothing but history. We are safe in Him… in the beauty of Heaven… for all of eternity, where joy, peace and righteousness reign without end.

This is Victory!
