The Shattering Cry

The world had laid in silence for 400 years since the time of Malachi. No new prophets were sent; the people waited and longed for Something, for Hope, for Purpose, for Meaning… but generations came and went and their hope grew weak…
But one starry night, this silence was pierced with a gentle Infant’s cry; God had come to man, clothed in human flesh. Hope had been born! The darkness that had enveloped the earth now gasped in fear. Heaven had touched earth! The plan of redemption was in process…
Even Heaven could not contain its joy, overflowing in angelic celebration, with a glow that seemed to reach past the night sky and into the darkest crevices of the longing human heart.
This cry from the manger was just the beginning, as He would live as the perfect Sacrificial Lamb, dying for our sins and crying out in victory from the cross, “It is finished!”
And now we await a third cry, but this time from the clouds. “Rise up My love My fair one and come away! Come, for all things are now ready.” Be watchful, dear ones, He is faithful to fulfill every promise, and His gathering of His bride is next!
Maranatha!
