Flipping The Script

God specializes in taking the evil intents of man and turning them into blessings. Joseph’s testimony to his brothers was exactly that…  “What you have meant for evil God has used for good, to the saving of many lives.” From being sold into slavery to being second in command in all of Egypt! God flips the script! 

This is our great consolation, that as we try to the best of our ability to take the right steps, even if we misstep, God can turn it around for good. And for the problems that truly seem impossible? Go to God in prayer trusting He still moves mountains because He does. 

A testimony was given at a recent Bible conference that brought the room to a standing ovation. A young man stood up there and said he’s a product of invitro fertilization because he has two lesbian moms. But the local prolife ministry (you know the ones who pray out on the sidewalks?) loved the Lord and prayed God would use the “implanted egg” to bring a man of God into the world. This young man is a fiery revivalist, a compelling evangelist and a mighty man of God. He said he is not fatherless because God is his Father and it is Him alone that he serves. Look what God did! “The prayer of the righteous person avails much!” Prayer flipped the script! 

Friends, don’t stop praying for God to do a miracle in your family, your city and nation. Never stop believing that God can redirect the plans of man and place them on a road to Redemption. And above all else… don’t lose heart as you look at our world. “All things (still) work together for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to His purposes.” Wouldn’t you just love to flip Satan’s script?! Pray boldly!
